Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Kayla was brought up living a very active lifestyle swimming, hiking, and rock climbing. She graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and with a background in kinesiology, Kayla has a thorough understanding of how the human body moves and functions. She is committed to providing a high level of care using evidence-based practice and is passionate about utilising a holistic approach to therapy. Kayla finds it rewarding to be able to improve the health and well-being of her clients such that they can return to the activities that they love.

Poppy Drumm-Owen @ Alexandria

About
Poppy is originally from Auckland, New Zealand, and completed her Master of Physiotherapy Practice, after first studying Exercise Science and Psychology.
She enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with particular clinical interests in ankle injuries, post-operative joint replacement rehabilitation, and working with people undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. Poppy is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they enjoy through evidence-based treatment and exercise rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Poppy enjoys recreational running and ocean swimming, and recently completed her first half marathon.

Charles Geddes @ Alexandria

About
Charles graduated from the University of South Australia in 2000 and has spent more than two decades helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, and get back to doing what they love. He has a particular interest in sports injuries and specialises in the assessment and treatment of lower limb conditions, including hip, knee and ankle injuries, as well as shoulder injuries. Charles is passionate about providing practical, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs, with a focus on achieving long-term results.
Outside the clinic, Charles is a husband and proud father of three young boys, including twins, so he understands the challenges that work, family, and an active lifestyle can place on the body. When he’s not at work, you’ll usually find him playing social basketball, coaching his boys’ sports teams, or spending time with his family. Charles enjoys helping patients of all ages return to sport, work, and everyday activities with confidence and less pain.

Kang Shaw @ Alexandria

About
Kang graduated from the University of Sydney and has over 15 years of experience across major Eastern Sydney hospitals and private physiotherapy practice. He has a special interest in complex musculoskeletal conditions, including hip and low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, hypermobility, and persistent pain.
Combining hands-on physiotherapy, Sports Integrated Dry Needling, and targeted exercise rehabilitation, Kang focuses on identifying the underlying cause of pain and developing individualised treatment plans to help patients return to work, sport, and everyday activities.
Outside the clinic, Kang enjoys strength training, snowboarding, gaming, and previously competed in athletics at a state level. His sporting background gives him a practical understanding of movement, performance, and injury prevention, with a strong emphasis on technique, movement quality, and long-term results.
