Lauren Wilson @ Mascot

Lauren graduated from the Australian Catholic University and began her physiotherapy career working at a major tertiary hospital in Sydney. Now over 5 years with the Body Active Physio team, she is an excellent physiotherapist with exceptional communication, manual therapy skills and patient care.

Lauren’s clinical interests include sports and work-related injuries as she is driven to provide evidence-based practice to enable patients to return to what makes them happy. Lauren believes an active lifestyle plays an important part in injury prevention as she also enjoys doing coastal walks, reformer Pilates and recreational running.

Lauren is available at Mascot 8am to 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and 8am to 2:30pm on Wednesdays.

Poppy Drumm-Owen @ Mascot

Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Poppy brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Exercise Science and Psychology. Her academic journey culminated in completing her Master of Physiotherapy Practice at The University of Auckland, where she graduated with First Class Honours.

Poppy’s research expertise lies in exercise prehabilitation for individuals with cancer, an area she is keen to further develop throughout her career. Her passion extends beyond academia — she thrives on connecting with new clients and helping them achieve their wellness goals. As a clinician, Poppy enjoys treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries and has a special interest in exercise rehabilitation, pre and post-operative rehab and fall prevention. What sets Poppy apart is her holistic approach. She considers not only the physical aspects of her clients’ concerns but also their mental, emotional, and social well-being. With empathy and expertise, she guides individuals toward lasting health improvements.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Poppy enjoying quality time with friends, indulging in baking adventures, exploring the vibrant streets of Sydney, and reconnecting with friends and family back in New Zealand.

Poppy is available at Mascot 8:30am to 5pm  on Tuesday and Friday.
